MISSION

Responsible for the creation of the master production schedule, understanding, utilizing, and documenting the manufacturing constraints, monitoring its execution, escalating as necessary to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.  Manage customer systems; monitoring all facets of EDI to ensure accurate input to the MPS as well as effectively communicating to the manufacturing team and the customer base.

Responsibilities & Activities

Responsibility 1:

  • Monitoring all on line customer systems to ensure 100% customer satisfaction
  • Ensure customer shipping schedules are maintained, communicated, and accurate
  • Complete management of multiple customer releases within ERP and release based systems
  • Timely creation of weekly master production schedule for assembly and blow mold operations
  • First point of contact for multiple OEM customers considering customer satisfaction and 100% on time delivery
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing constraints
  • Provide level load build plans

Responsibility 2:

  • Communication of heijunka schedule making production plan timely, visual, and accurate
  • Utilize master production schedule as main input to MRP providing supply base with accurate planning information
  • Manage WIP and finished good inventory levels utilizing Kanban pull systems
  • Parameter review for all finished good and WIP part numbers, ensuring accurate part planning and minimum inventory levels
  • Exception management including reaction to escalations as issues occur; on call after hours as required
  • Set up and monitor expedites to customers as needed
  • Responsible for improving supply chain metrics including inventory, freight, customer delivery, systems compliance
  • Monitor all inputs required for MPS execution, elevating and adjusting as required to ensure 100% on time delivery
  • Customer Portals: Responsible to ensure customer requirements are met (including but not limited to: setting quality objectives, corrective and preventative actions, logistics information, customer score cards and customer portals. This includes production, new model and service.

 

Responsibility 3:

  • Authority and responsibility to stop production when a quality or safety issue arises
  • Work requires walking, talking, seeing, hearing, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing
  • Must be able to lift up to 33lbs on a regular basis
  • Work requires working under high and low temperatures at certain times

Responsibility 4:

  • Provides support, training  and coaches end users/operators during their shifts when needed
  • Helps to unblock situation and applies contingency plan in case of PES issue
  • Is in charge of the escalation process for software and hardware support
  • Reports to the local PES Coordinator
  • Forwards the blocking points and the enhancements requests
  • Takes part in the Key Users’ “functional network”
  • Opens support tickets and follows them till the complete resolution
  • Receives support from central teams as need be, reports incident resolution to Local PES Coordinator
