• Job Title: Quality Engineer
• Type of contract: Long-term At-will
• Expected Hiring Date: July 2026
Responsibilites:
- Ensure that customer quality requirements are met and PSW to customer is submitted
- Ensure that the Customer Specific Requirements are well known within project team
- Be the Contact person for the customer § Monitor Quality Project status and escalate risks in project
- Support the plant and project organization to improve the process to secure launch and ramp-up
Activities:
- Contribute to continuous improvement (lessons learned, OPL, best practice, standard improvement)
- Lead problem solving process when major customer or internal complaint
- Support plant team for Q. processes deployment
- Support int. / ext. perimeter change process (OPTIMAP in develop. & OPTICHANGE in serial life)
- Report Quality status (PQL report) to the CQM
- Attend launch readiness meetings
- Prepare milestone review / highlight major quality risks
- Validate conformity of prototype shipments
- Geometry, aspect & validation assessment (CTQ process)
- Deploy Design for Quality
- Ensure effectiveness of actions defined out of DfQ
- Perform cosmetic audits
- Identify gaps to customer requirements and risks related to project Quality objectives - escalate to PM & CQM
- Get internal validation of deviations and present to the Customer for approval and signature
- Interface with customer (APQP reviews, product quality reviews, complaint reporting)
- Validate core team deliverables prior to presentation to customer
- Deploy customer specific requirement to core team
- Support Plant Quality to secure Launch and Ramp-up
- Manage development hours for his perimeter
- Complete PQL OPTIMAP tasks.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- APQP and PPAP experience
- Customer-facing experience
- Experience with Core Quality Tools
- Good communication skills
