EHS Intern Essential Functions/Duties:

• Assist in conducting safety inspections and audits across various departments to ensrure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Participate in risk assessments and hazard identification processes and propose corrective actions.
• Help in the development and delivery of safety training programs for employees.
• Support incident investigations, including root cause analysis, and contribute to the preparation of incident reports.
• Work closely with the EHS Specialist in compiling and analyzing data related to workplace incidents and safety metrics.
• Review and update EHS policies and procedures under the guidance of the EHS Specialist.
• Contribute to sustainability projects aimed at reducing the company’s environmental footprint.
• Assist in maintaining records related to EHS performance, training, inspections, and compliance.
• Use PPE as required.
• Perform all duties in a safe & environmental manner. 
• The schedule may vary as needed.
• Work is generally performed in a manufacturing and office environment

Required Experience/Skills:

• Pursuing a degree in Enviromental Health and Safety, Occupational Health, or relatable field with an interest in EHS
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
