QUALITY RESIDENT LIAISON

Quality Resident Liaison Essential Functions/Duties:

  • It is the responsibility of the Quality Resident Liaison to act as the main quality interface between the Customer and OPmobility for our Just-In-Time production environment. 

  • Provide support needed to address Customer quality issues and Customer trials.

  • Act as the Customer voice to OPmobility regarding quality issues.

  • Define Customer requirements communicate with the plant and to develop benchmarking activities that will support us in exceeding the Customer’s expectations.

  • Support Product launches.

  • Ensuring compliance to and participation in IATF 16949 and CSR (Customer Specific Requirements) compliance & ISO 14001 certification.

  • Develop and maintain Customer Liaison activities with Tesla personnel and corporate staff.

  • Maintain positive relations.

  • Prepare daily / weekly concern and non-conformance reports.

  • Assist the quality department in 8D activity.

  • Coordinate clean point activity.

  • Monitor and Control Change Management and CN’s.

  • Perform LPAs as assigned.

  • Assist LO Department when needed (expedites).

  • End of shift report/electronic distribution.

  • Maintain an open issue list.

  • Perform hourly audit in sequence loads at installation.

  • Talk to assembly plant personnel at least 3x’s per shift.

  • Environmental Management.

  • Has the ability to stop production, upon notifying the Supervisor and Plant Manager for Safety related matters requiring immediate attention.

  • Has the ability to stop production, upon notifying the Supervisor and Plant Manager for quality-related nonconforming matters requiring immediate repair.

  • Support Maintaining of ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 processes.

  • Other duties as assigned.
     

 

Education/Professional Training:

  • Highschool Diploma
  • 3+ years working experience in a Quality, Technical or Liaison experience in a manufacturing enviroment- Tier 1 preferred
  • Negotiation skills
