Supply Quality Engineer Intern Essential Functions/Duties:

  • Work closely with our Quality team to ensure that our products or services meet the highest standards of quality
  • Assist the quality team in conducting inspections / audits and tests on raw materials, components, and finished products
  • Learn and apply quality control procedures and protocols
  • Collect and analyze data related to product quality, including defect rates, failure analysis, and other relevant metrics
  • Assist in preparing reports summarizing quality performance
  • Collaborate with the Quality team to identify areas for process improvement and ways to enhance overall product quality
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities
  • Assist in updating and managing quality control documentation, such as Quality Alerts and Inspection Instructions. Involvement in creation and maintaining PFMEA / Control Plan
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Assist in conducting internal quality audits to assess compliance with quality standards
  • Work is generally performed in a manufacturing and office environment

 

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Pursuing a degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or relatable field with an interest in Quality (sophmore level)
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
