Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Intern 

📍 Location: 12621 Harris Branch Pkwy., Manor, TX 78653
🕒 Schedule: Part‑Time, Onsite (30 hours per week)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Intern to support our manufacturing operations in Manor, Texas. This hands‑on internship provides real‑world EHS experience in a fast‑paced industrial environment and is ideal for students or recent graduates pursuing a career in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field.

 

You’ll work closely with the EHS team to support compliance, safety initiatives, sustainability projects, and continuous improvement efforts that help protect our people and our workplace.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assist with safety inspections, audits, and compliance reviews across departments
  • Participate in risk assessments and hazard identification, recommending corrective actions
  • Support the development and delivery of safety training programs
  • Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and report preparation
  • Review, update, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and records
  • Analyze EHS data and safety metrics alongside the EHS Specialist
  • Contribute to sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact
  • Support compliance with ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001
  • Collaborate with HR and Operations on safety‑related initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of an Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or related program
  • Strong interest in workplace safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory standards
  • Basic understanding of EHS laws and regulations (OSHA knowledge a plus)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bilingual (Spanish or German) a plus, but not required

Physical & Work Environment

  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
  • Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Comfortable working in a non‑climate‑controlled manufacturing environment
  • Must follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE
