Engineering Change Coordinator

About the Role
Join a dynamic team where precision and innovation drive success! As an Engineering Change Coordinator, you’ll manage technical change processes, coordinate pre-series events, and ensure seamless communication between internal teams and clients. This role is critical to maintaining quality and efficiency in a fast-paced automotive environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the Change Management process to evaluate and implement client technical changes.
- Prepare and negotiate quotes for impacts due to engineering changes.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings to ensure smooth production transitions.
- Organize and manage pre-series events with suppliers and internal teams.
- Maintain technical documentation, drawings, and product data management (PDM).
- Collaborate closely with major clients like Tesla and FCA on project requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of engineering design principles, CAD, and product development.
- Familiarity with IATF16949, ISO 9001:2015, and quality management systems.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Languages: English required; Spanish/German/French a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Physical & Work Environment
- Onsite role in a dynamic production facility (temperature varies by season).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
- Frequent walking, bending, and occasional forklift operation (valid driver’s license required).
- Safety-first culture with mandatory PPE.
