HUMAN RESOURCES INTERN
📍 Location: 12621 Harris Branch Pkwy., Manor, TX 78653
🕒 Schedule: Part‑Time, Onsite (30 hours per week)

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field (Sophomore level preferred)
- Academic background aligned with Human Resources or a closely related discipline
Language Skills
- English: Required
- Spanish: A plus
Professional Training / Working Skills
- Strong administrative skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
HR-Related Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of Human Resources functions
- Experience or familiarity with documentation and record keeping

- Strong customer service mindset
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the collection, filing, and maintenance of HR records, including employee files, performance documentation, and record retention materials
- Conduct quarterly employee file audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Post job openings on SuccessFactors and Handshake, monitor applications, and share candidate pools with hiring managers
- Coordinate and participate in candidate interviews
- Support pre‑employment verification processes, including background checks and drug screenings
- Assist with event scheduling and coordination
- Maintain the employee training system and training plans, ensuring records and evidence are current and properly documented
- Schedule training opportunities for employees and ensure completion documentation is maintained
- Perform quarterly audits of the training system
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and completion of required documentation
- Ensure job descriptions are current and maintained on file; update existing descriptions as responsibilities evolve or create new ones for newly established roles
- Assist in reviewing and updating HR practices to ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements
- Support HR policy updates and revisions
- Assist with the launch and support of Quality Management Systems
- Perform additional duties related to the role, including contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, workplace environment enhancements, and supporting industrial safety, environmental protection, and energy management activities relevant to HR operations
- Support the employee recognition program and assist with the creation and distribution of the monthly employee newsletter
