About the Role
As a Mold Scheduler, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring molds are available, ready, and utilized efficiently to keep production running smoothly. You’ll coordinate across multiple teams—production, tooling, maintenance, engineering, and suppliers—to prevent downtime, support new launches, and manage tooling changes.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan & Schedule Molds: Create and maintain mold usage schedules aligned with production needs.Ensure Tooling Readiness: Verify molds are production-ready and track their status (maintenance, repair, modification).Coordinate Maintenance & Repairs: Schedule preventive and corrective maintenance; liaise with internal and external tooling shops.Support Engineering Changes & Launches: Align mold timing with new program launches and engineering change orders.Cross-Functional Communication: Act as the primary link between production planning, tooling, engineering, and quality teams.Inventory & Asset Tracking: Maintain accurate records of mold location, condition, and spare components.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: Previous scheduling or tooling coordination experience in a manufacturing environment.
Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.Technical: Familiarity with mold maintenance cycles, shot counts, and tooling audits.Tools: Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across departments.
