- Job Title: Maintenance Technician
- Type of Contract: Long-term At-will
- Shift: 2nd
- Expected Hiring Date: July 2026
- Scope: Single-site manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Assist with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming activities.
- Support robotic equipment maintenance and ensure proper operation of production lines.
- Complete facility maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, downtime, and work orders.
- Participate in problem-solving activities related to safety, quality, and equipment efficiency.
- Support equipment modifications and improvements to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with 5S standards, safety policies, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Participate in audits and ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and other applicable standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or GED required; technical trade school or equivalent certification preferred.
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred).
- Working knowledge of PLC systems (read/program) and industrial automation.
- Experience with robotics, injection molding equipment, and production machinery.
- Strong skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with machining (milling, grinding), welding, and general fabrication is a plus.
- Valid forklift certification and/or willingness to obtain certification.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001).
- English required; Spanish and/or German is a plus
