Manages activities in accordance with EIS governance rules, purchasing policy, and established processes.
Owns the supplier database: responsible for the local supplier database and its evaluation through an assessment process throughout the year.
Responsible for risk management with the support of the finance department (supplier financial health, penetration rate, etc.).
Compares MRO costs and purchasing conditions with those of other IES plants.
Compares data and looks for opportunities for improvement.
Contributes to plant synergies by developing conditions with other buyers to leverage volumes and optimize costs.
Manages supplier databases in accordance with PO policies and resolves issues with suppliers.
Monitors MRO performance through standard KPIs and is committed to savings.
Reports monthly and declares savings achieved in relation to current processes and standards.
Leads negotiations with suppliers: ensures fair competition among suppliers, makes sure that at least three competitors are compared to provide the best technical solution and lowest cost.
Manages the flow of purchase requests and launches the quote request process for the entire plant.
Prepares recommendations and presents them in sourcing.
