Job Title: DevOps & Toolchain Manager – Embedded Software Environment

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps & Toolchain Manager to lead a team of six engineers in an agile (Scrum) environment. This role involves managing the infrastructure and toolchain supporting embedded software development, with a strong focus on communication, cybersecurity, and innovation through AI integration.

 

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Agile Management

  • Functional management of a 6-person team using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Sprint planning and task tracking using JIRA.
  • Mentoring and supporting team members in their technical and professional growth.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as the main point of contact for external stakeholders including IT Group, Cybersecurity teams, embedded software project teams, and top management.
  • Provide clear and structured updates, reports, and presentations.

Toolchain & Infrastructure Management

  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of embedded software development tools (e.g., Polarion, GitLab, Jenkins, Coverity, JFrog) on Azure-hosted RedHat Linux and Windows VMs.
  • Manage SaaS applications such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Coordinate with external vendors developing complementary web applications.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to identify and remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities.
  • Plan and implement product cybersecurity tools within the toolchain.

Innovation & AI Integration

  • Lead the planning, experimentation, and deployment of AI solutions within the toolchain to enhance productivity and automation.

Asset & License Management

  • Manage software licenses and maintenance contracts, including renewals and compliance tracking.

CI/CD & Project Onboarding

  • Create and configure projects across all tools in the infrastructure.
  • Set up CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins for each new project kickoff.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or toolchain management.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and virtualized environments.
  • Familiarity with embedded software development tools and environments.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and vulnerability management.
  • Experience with AI integration in development environments is a plus
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
