HR Generalist – San Andreu de la Barca, Spain

 

Job description

 

The role supports key HR activities across the employee lifecycle,onboarding,  employee engagement, and development. It contributes to smooth HR operations by serving as a point of contact for employees, coordinating processes and initiatives, and supporting compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement of HR practices.

Employee Lifecycle & Operations

 

  • Support end-to-end HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes throughout the lifecycle.
  • Recruitment : internships, temps, subcontractors
  • Publish trainee roles, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and support the selection process.
  • Ensure a smooth, engaging onboarding experience for new hires.

 

Employee Relations & Engagement

 

  • Act as a point of contact for employees on HR-related questions.
  • Support initiatives that promote company culture, employee engagement, and retention.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities, including communication around events and initiatives.

 

Performance & Development

 

  • Support performance and development review cycles.
  • Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating learning and development activities.

 

Policies, Compliance & Reporting

 

  • Contribute to the review and update of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and wellbeing standards.
  • Prepare and report HR KPIs.
  • Support HR audit processes.

 

 

Profile

 

You have a master’s degree or a bachelor’s from a recognized business school or university, and you have majored, ideally, with Human Resources.

 

You are a highly efficient and well‑organised HR professional who supports HR activities across the employee lifecycle with accuracy and attention to detail. You manage HR operations reliably, ensuring proper documentation, record‑keeping, and compliance with contracts, policies, and procedures.

 

You are a trusted point of contact for employees, recognised for your active listening, empathy, and professional communication. You handle HR‑related questions with clarity and discretion, maintaining a high standard of confidentiality and integrity.

You contribute and help ensure smooth and engaging onboarding for new comers.

 

You communicate clearly in both written and verbal interactions, explaining HR processes in a simple and consistent way. You work collaboratively across teams with an inclusive mindset and contribute to engagement initiatives that support company culture and retention.

 

Your English is fluent and your Spanish is intermediate.
