MISSION

  • The Supplier Quality Manager leads the company's supplier quality policy by associating indicators and control processes. He/she is responsible for the conformity of products and services delivered by suppliers.
  • Main tasks:
  • Implementing a supplier quality policy and leading it on a daily basis
  • Ensure supplier excellence on best practice in defect prevention, reduction of variation, waste, development of continuous improvements and to continue to meet the required quality standards to minimize quality costs and maximize customer satisfaction whilst ensuring that procedures and processes are followed.
  • Support the Purchasing Department Manage a team of supplier quality engineers.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES

  • Monitor the quality performance of the supply base with zero defect philosophy
  • Improvement of SNCRs , warranty costs and 8Ds performance and follow-up
  • Actively supports new supplier selection and potential suppliers mapping
  • Support Production and Quality teams in case of supplier quality issues
  • Manage the APQP/SOPA/PPAP supporting documents to ensure all development program deliverables are met
  • Lead a team of Supplier Quality Development Engineers (SQDE) that review, verify and certify suppliers processes to achieve PPAP approval on time
  • Lead a team of Suppliers Development Leaders (SDL) that are in charge of suppliers development, audits and overall performance improvement
  • Lead functionally a team of Plants Suppliers Quality Engineers (PSQE) and coordinate regional activities related to Supplier Quality Management

Personal Background

  • BAC +5  
  • English

 

Job Technical skills

  •  Mastery of automotive quality tools
  •  Mastery of ISO 9'001 and IATF 16'949 standards
  • Ability to diagnose, analyze and solve a problem.
  • Know how to evaluate the profitability of the policy in place and propose changes and improvements.
  • Know how to transmit information to the teams concerned.
