- Job Title : SITE SUPPLY CHAIN MATERIAL PLANNER
- Type of contract : Long-term At-will
- Expected Hiring Date : ASAP
- Scope : Duncan, SILS location
Responsibilities :
- Ensure that suppliers have accurate forecast of releases ensuring that components are delivered, in order to meet production requirements
- Using data in SAP to prepare forecast
- Based on forecast, plan orders for components from suppliers
- Escalating suppliers for past due materials or delivery issues.
- Create quality notifications for suppliers past due.
- Monitor stock levels of components/material and ensure on-time delivery from suppliers
- Releasing orders from suppliers for components, replanning when necessary.
- Reviewing and updating released and planned orders daily
- Communication and follow-up of orders to suppliers. Expediting when necessary.
- Maintaining and controlling inventory balances
- Review obsolescence and off balance stocks. (LH vs RH inventory not matching)
- Reviewing supplier deliveries vs invoicing.
- Review WMS errors with shop floor teams.
- Review supplier packaging and packaging inventory.
- Forecast and manage engineering change run out and run in.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
- College degree or strong relevant working experience
- 5 years experience working with domestic and international suppliers
- Experience with transportation/logistics industry helpful
- Strong working knowledge of SAP
- JIT/JIS experience
- MS Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-disciplined
- Good communication skills (Assertive)
