Join Our Leadership Team as a Plant Manager!

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of our facility’s production, ensuring quality, efficiency, and a positive workplace culture. What You’ll Do

  • Review production orders and schedules to plan and coordinate daily operations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
  • Establish priorities for manufacturing processes and develop operational schedules to meet production goals.
  • Monitor and analyze production and operational reports; resolve issues to minimize costs and prevent delays.
  • Inspect equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and utilization.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures and observe staff to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Compile, store, and retrieve production data to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Lead daily/weekly 5S activities to maintain an organized, efficient, and safe workplace.
  • Manage plant costs and strive for cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Lead and Develop Teams

  • Oversee department supervisors and ensure effective direction, coordination, and evaluation across Wire, Battery, Planning, and EHS departments.
  • Directly supervise employees, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
  • Uphold company policies and legal requirements in all supervisory activities.
  • Handle employee relations, resolve grievances, and foster a collaborative work environment.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes.
  • Organize and deliver training programs, ensuring team members are properly trained and cross-trained.
  • Plan, assign, and direct daily work assignments.
  • Write and deliver performance reviews, recognize achievements, and address performance issues as needed.
  • Respond to employee concerns and resolve problems promptly and fairly.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field, or at least 6 years of relevant experience (or a combination of education and experience).
  • Previous managerial experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus, but not required.

Technical and Professional Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; understanding of MRP logic and manufacturing planning processes.
  • Familiar with quality systems and statistical methods; ISO 9001 required, IATF 16949 preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and solve challenging problems.
  • Experience with warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering teams to drive product and process improvements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to leadership and external groups.

Soft Skills

  • Skilled at motivating teams, delegating tasks, and achieving results through others.
  • Effective mediator, able to resolve personnel and departmental conflicts.
  • Resourceful and quick to identify root causes and implement operational solutions.
  • Adaptable, with a continuous improvement mindset and a strong sense of accountability.
