As Program buyer (supply project manager), you will be part of the core project team in Gliwice. You will be in charge of purchasing and follow up of the suppliers for one project from nomination until start of production.

Your responsibilities

  • Set the budget in accordance to project objectives at the beginning of a project
  • Negotiate the cost, quality means and deadlines with the suppliers
  • Keep up with the validation time plan to assure problem-free start of the serial production
  • Solve all of the problematic situations with the suppliers
  • Coordinate all the technical changes in the project with the suppliers
  • Prepare the project status for milestones review; follow the critical topics identified at review
  • Manage purchasing requests during the project phase
  • Closely cooperate with Supplier Quality Engineers and Commodity Buyers

Our requirements

  • English – advanced level
  • 3 to 5 years of practice in purchasing, ideally in automotive
  • Experience with purchasing in pre-serial phase
  • Experience with negotiation with suppliers
  • Multi-task abilities
  • Willingness to travel
