Junior Commodity Buyer– Gliwice, POLAND

Job description

You will join our Central Europe Purchasing team in our Plant in Gliwice, Poland. Your main missions will include:

• Being in charge of the purchasing strategies for his suppliers range, identifying the market opportunities (economical, technological and geographical), managing his suppliers list & the cost reduction programs.
• Being responsible for the sourcing process according to the plant & project needs in observation of the deontology rules and in the objectives set in terms of quality, cost and delivery
• Being in charge of the “order to pay” process: verifies that the spend authorization rules are respected set up the necessary orders and contracts and tracks the conditions of application. Ensuring that the suppliers are paid in the term negotiated.
• Managing if necessary, any crisis with the suppliers
• Productivity, supply base management, debt management, right first time invoicing, sourcing in compliance with target
• Purchasing deliverables according to the company´s purchasing process
• Regional commodity budget targets or Program purchasing targets. 

Profile

You are a highly motivated young graduate from an engineering school or university with experience in purchasing, especially in negotiations and strategy management.

You are a team player, a self-learner and can demonstrate leadership as well as good communication skills. 

Open-minded and with a desire to learn, you demonstrate willingness to embark on an international career. You are rigorous, detail oriented and dynamic.

You are fluent in English and another language is a plus.
