The role of Supply Chain & Packaging Engineer is based in our Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Gliwice, Poland.

 

Responsibilities:

The suitable candidate already has some experience in Supply chain or Packaging development - and you will get training and full support along the way, so that you can:

  • Manage the logistics budget for new programs, including cost analysis and investment planning
    • Design and optimize logistics processes in line with global supply chain standards
    • Specify and implement physical and information flows (inbound, internal, outbound)
    • Set optimal inventory levels to secure short lead time and stable production

 

  • Develop and validate packaging for semi‑finished and finished products
    • Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Procurement to deliver robust, efficient packaging and logistics solutions
    • Drive improvement initiatives to enhance material flow, reduce waste, and increase overall performance

 

Requirements:

  • University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain operations, or manufacturing environment
  • Strong MS Excel/analytical skills
  • Understanding of logistics cost structures and experience with budgeting or investment planning
  • Knowledge of physical and information flows within industrial operations
  • Experience with inventory management, including stock and lead time optimization
  • Practical experience with packaging processes or packaging specifications is an advantage
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) is an advantage
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with other departments
  • Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and process‑oriented mindset
  • English on communicative level
  • Driving license, willingness to travel
