SITE IS / IT OPERATIONS TRAINEE

IT Internship

Mission:

To assist IT Technicians in receiving requests and trouble tickets from Greer users, in performing IT support tasks that require hands-on, maintaining KPIs and other IT tasks that can represent a learning experience for an IT related student.

 Responsibilities:

• Basic hardware and software maintenance.
• Troubleshooting network.
• compliance reports.
• compliance remediation tasks.
• create hardware and systems documentation.
• Support with repetitive technical tasks and keeping local inventory.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled as a Sophomore or Junior in a Bachelor program for Information Technology or related studies.
• Able to start right away.
• Good communication skills and team spirit.
• Resilience.
• Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours a week.
• (will work around student’s class schedule).
• Able to commit to a 1 – 2 years internship.
• Must be able to work on site at the plant location
