Purchasing Internship

Mission:

In accordance with the Company governance rules, purchasing policy and in the respect of the processes in place provide the support to the SPM team and the Purchasing project department to deliver the best in class results in terms Cost, quality and Timing.

Responsibilities: 

• Support the order to pay process
• Tracking of the Purchase requests, Create purchase orders, and follow up with the suppliers after issuing the Purchase orders.
• Request and prepare the open orders creation for the production phase
• Launch and manage RFQ’s
• Request quotes from supply base.

• Participate in negotiations to ensure project goals/costs are achieved. 
• Support on the transfer activities before SOP (from project team to the plant team)

Qualifications:

• Able to start this internship right away.
• Able to work minimum of 20-30 minimum hours a week.
• Able to work for 6 months.
• Must be able to work on site at the plant location.
• Must be currently working on a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, purchasing or Finance.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft office Software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT …)
• Analytical skills
• Critical thinking
• Experience in Automotive industry is a plus
• High organization skills
• Good and clear communication
• Motivation and willing to learn and grow
