Responsibilities:

• Preparation and implementation of group-wide freight tenders (RFQs, inbound-outbound logistics) and the associated nominations
• Conception and implementation of innovative logistics concepts, for example in the area of transport and network optimization
• Intensive benchmarking of the market and the players to identify new ideas and solutions
• Active participation in the analysis and introduction of state-of-the-art processes and tools
• Tracking of action plans and goals (savings potential, CSR, satisfaction indicators, etc.)
• Close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders responsible for purchasing in the region and business groups

Requirements:

• Successfully completed training/degree in the field of logistics, business administration or similar
• 3-5 years of professional experience in the purchase of freight and external storage services
• Good experience with SAP modules
• Confident handling of business and negotiation partners as well as internal departments
• Very good knowledge of German and English language both oral and written
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and independent way of working
• Occasional willingness to travel
