The role of Assembly Process Engineer is based in our Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Hlohovec, Slovakia.
Responsibilities:
• Preparation of documentation that includes a description of the process, its parameters and settings, and work instructions for performing individual parts of the process
• Setting and optimization of process parameters, time analyses
• Process management and responsibility for implementing process changes, deviation analysis
• Implementation of changes in the production process to achieve quality indicators, cost targets, and timely fulfilment of objectives in accordance with internal and external customer requirements
• Cooperation with the maintenance department when taking over new production equipment, technologies, and processes, especially in the field of assembly
• Cooperation in introducing new projects into production
• Defining methods and procedures for regular evaluation of the capability of individual parts of the process and its control
Requirements:
• University degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, automation, or related field)
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive advantage)
• Proven experience with process optimization and implementing improvements
• Ability to read technical drawings and work with technical documentation
• Strong analytical skills; knowledge of Lean tools (5S, VSM, PFMEA, SPC, SMED)
• Experience with data analysis and MS Excel (Power BI advantage)
• Knowledge of quality standards and production technologies
• Communicative level of English
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
• Proactive mindset, ability to lead improvement projects independently
