Assembly Process Engineer - Automation & Robotics

Responsibilities:
- Supporting the implementation of new projects in close collaboration with cross‑functional project teams
- Programming FANUC industrial robots using Teach Pendant (TP) language
- Programming Siemens S7 PLCs within the TIA Portal environment
- Integrating robotic systems with PLCs via PROFINET communication
- Performing start‑up and commissioning of robotic production lines in the automotive industry
- Cooperating with corporate design teams and equipment suppliers to ensure proper installation in accordance with customer specifications and safety standards
- Creating process flow charts, PFMEA/FMEA, and work instructions based on project documentation
- Active involvement in the development of technical specifications and machine safety requirements
- Coordinating and executing testing activities for new equipment and manufacturing processes
- Establishing assembly standards and standardized work procedures
- Developing work instructions and safety instructions, and conducting operator and maintenance training
- Creating and updating time studies and cycle‑time analyses
- Designing layouts for new assembly line equipment and production areas
- Organizing and participating in internal and external trial builds, including supplier FAT and plant SAT
- Preparing process parameter cards and setup documentation for assembly line equipment
- Analyzing root causes of failures, optimizing process parameters, and implementing corrective actions
- Troubleshooting production and automation issues to ensure stable and efficient assembly line operation
Profile:
- Experience Areas: Engineering – engineering degree required
- Good knowledge of assembly processes and maintenance
- Robot programming (Fanuc, PLC Siemens S7)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Automotive industry in a similar position
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Ability to work in a team
- Self‑discipline
- Results‑oriented mindset
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience in electromechanics
- Driver’s license category B
