The role of O2C Accountant is based in our Lighting Business Group in Krakow.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer invoices records and collection on due date.  
• Cooperate with the P2P side when mirroring transactions occur such as customer deductions.  
• Reconcile open customer invoices with the customer statement as per the Group policy or direction from his / her leader.  
• Contribute to the O2C accounting processes improvement activities lead by the Migration & Process Improvement Leader, at his/her leader request.  
•  Handle Customer invoice flows into the accounts receivable system (SAP).  
•  To be able to reconcile various accounts to ensure that the accounts receivables match the actual transactions 
• Ensure prompt collection and allocation activities, minimizing the unallocated cash with proper justification. Customer accounts should be cleared timely and uncleared items justified 
• Intercompany Accounts to be cleared and all tasks handled in a timely manner 
• Participate to the month and year-end closing activities.  
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required by his / her leader.  

Requirements:

• University degree in Accountancy or Finance
• 2 - 5 years’ experience in Accounts Receivables area is a must, experience in Polish accounting as an advantage
• Knowledge of SAP Finance, Microsoft Office - especially Excel (at least intermediate level) 
• English - advanced, any other major European language (i.e. German, French, Spanish) is a plus
• Good communication skills, stress resistant personality
• Willingness to learn and to adapt to fast changing environments
