The role of Commodity Buyer will be based in our office in Cracow, Poland
Responsibilities
- Setting directions for how we source and buy resin materials.
- Lead sourcing from development to serial production including supplier selection.
- Ensuring competitive pricing and uninterrupted material supply.
- Managing and evaluating the supplier base, making decisions on supplier selection.
- Identifying and delivering cost-saving opportunities (e.g. process or material improvements).
- Leading price, contract, and technical negotiations with suppliers.
- Monitoring supplier performance and risks (financial, operational) and taking preventive action.
Profile
- Master’s or Engineering degree.
- Fluent English.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- Knowledge of the automotive market.
- Strong purchasing expertise with a strategic mindset.
- Experience in negotiations and supplier management.
- Good understanding of finance, cost structures, and cash flow.
- Leadership mindset with strong multitasking ability, high rigor, and results orientation.
