The role of EHS Specialist will be based in our locations in Cracow and Gliwice, Poland
We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively train and educate employees
while building awareness and ownership of EHS topics, combined with a proactive, structured, and solution-oriented approach driven by a continuous improvement mindset.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the site’s EHS programs covering safety, environmental protection, ergonomics, and energy management.
- Ensure compliance with legal, corporate, and facility-related EHS requirements.
- Deliver EHS training and promote a proactive safety culture across the organization.
- Act as process owner for EHS within the Integrated Management System (IMS) (KPIs, audits, process improvements).
- Manage and update risk assessments, procedures, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Monitor and analyze EHS performance indicators (e.g. safety KPIs, audits, CO₂ emissions, energy usage).
- Ensure continuous alignment with evolving EHS regulations and standards.
Profile
- Engineering degree or equivalent (preferably in EHS or related field).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in EHS, in GBS organization, industrial, or technical environment.
- Fluent English.
- Solid knowledge of local EHS regulations, ISO 45001, and environmental standards.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to effectively train and educate employees, building awareness and ownership of EHS topics.
- Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Willingness to work from offices in Cracow and Gliwice.
