MISSION

OP Mobility is developing the Accounting Regional Hubs to operate the R2R accounting processes. This position focuses on the EMEA region.

The position is expected to deliver R2R activities. General accounting, intercompany transactions and account reconciliations for the country business group (s) are the main expectations.

This position should deliver quality in her / his work challenging values and should also ensure the R2R operations are compliant with regulatory requirements, Corporate Accounting and Internal Control policies.

 

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES AND TASKS 

General Accounting and intercompany operations.

Contributes to the Financial and Statutory accounts completion.

Contribute to the Accounting performance through back log management, accounts reconciliations and process documentation namely KPIs and SOPs.

More specifically:

  • Supervise the day to day posting of the General Ledger entries assessing the completeness and accuracy of the financial data for accounts including the intercompany invoices/credit notes.
  • Supervise / perform allocations, record accruals / provisions / prepayments.
  • Supervise the process of the intercompany month-end activities accordingly.
  • Make sure the month-end activities are delivered timely and completely including accounts backlogs justification for entities’ accounts.
  • Is responsible for the General Ledger account reconciliations.
  • Supervise posting and reconciliations for example and not limited to intercompany, fixed assets, intangible assets (mostly projects), logistics, customer – supplier claims, VAT, banks, physical counts, supervision of the sub ledgers reconciliations, net equity reconciliations between local – tax and group reporting, cash forecast.
  • Provide agreed regular updates and analysis to his / her N+1 (KPIs, SOP).
  • Work with the R2R BPO to standardize, streamline the R2R activities.
  • Ensure the compliance with local, international financial regulations and Group standards.

 

REQUESTED PROFILE

  • Experience: Some experience in Finance operations management roles within industrial groups, if possible, within a SSC organization,
  • Leadership: Able to listen and adapt,
  • Collaboration: Ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders (ex.: Finance, IT, Business groups, auditors…). Habit of interacting and communicating with various nationalities and cultures,
  • Adaptability: Self-starter with emotional intelligence able to adapt to fast changing environments,
  • High level of accuracy and attention to details,
  • Continuous improvement mindset,
  • Knowledge: SAP Finance, Microsoft Office, RPAs, Microsoft Power Automate, Data visualization tools (ex.: Power BI),
  • Bachelor’s degree in accountancy and / or Finance. From 15 to 20 years+ experience,
  • Fluent in English + at least 1 major European language (i.e. German, French, Spanish).
