As part of the Value Tower Manufacturing, the Global IS Domain Leader for EHS & Quality partners with Global Business Product Owner to define and prioritize technology investments in his Manufacturing domain of expertise (HSE & Quality), in line with business requirements and strategy.

He/she ensures the successful and timely delivery of solutions and digital projects, in terms of quality, cost, performance, value generation, and securit

 
 

Main activities

 

DEMAND MANAGEMENT & TECH WATCH

  • Takes responsibility for business demand collection and analysis
  • Contributes to build a comprehensive business roadmap including priorization process to enable business ambitions and value.
  • Provides guidance to VT business and IS contributors on market trends, benchmarks, new technology and solutions…
  • Stays abreast on industry trends and technology advancements to foster business innovation

 

PROJECT DEFINITION & SIZING

  • Together with Global Business Product Owner of the domain, defines the business needs and relevant solutions according to business requirements & strategy.
  • Prepares scoping and relevant documentations and budget/ROI estimates for gate validations, liaising with architect(s) and technical specialists
  • Actively contributes and promotes projects during gate reviews.
  • Helps teams write functional specifications and define resources and time needed for implementation.
  • Participates to supplier selection and negotiation when necessary.

                                                                                         

PROJECT DELIVERY

  • Pilots and contributes to the delivery of projects within defined milestones and according to defined cost, quality and value generation criteria.
  • Coordinates the project teams assigned and supervises progress at each step of the project. Defines and follows up the production of functional tests and necessary adjustments.
  • Manages, accompanies, trains and develops the human resources assigned to his/her team.
  • Defines and coordinates change management activities and training of key users.

 

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

 
  • Defines and monitors indicators related to the success and quality of projects deliveries.
  • Keeps project stakeholders informed of project status, alerts on potential risks and coordinates back-up plans or adjustments if needed.
  • Manages his/her suppliers operationally under negotiated framework agreements.
  • Is accountable for continuous improvement plan

 

Required skills and experience

  • Master degree in IS or Engineering School or equivalent combination of education, experience & skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of business HSE & Quality processes and their modelling. Successful experiences with measurement, aspect control, SPC, carbon footprint, energy consumption   will be an asset.
  • Technical background in transactional databases and existing solutions
  • Strong experience in management of projects (min 10 years) in international environment & matrix organization.
  • Supplier management / basics of finance & negotiation.
  • Good communication and leadership skills, proactive, collaborative, organization & analytical mindset
