The role of Mechanical Engineer is based in our Lighting business group in Cracow.
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical Engineer as a team member is responsible for fulfillment of project objectives as delivery of robust, proven and reliable product in required time, quality and costs
- Mechanical engineer may be assigned to Lead Mechanical Engineer (LME) role on the project. The scope of responsibilities then increases and includes additionally opportunity to lead and mentor team of mechanical engineers
- Provides technical support within the mechanical construction during product development leading to successful introduction into the production
- Develops concepts for innovative products with regard to feasibility, cost, lifespan, customer and legal requirements
- Applies the best design and process practices ( Design guidelines and rules ), standard parts, Lessons Learned, CAD standards and CAD methodology and specific customer requirements
- Cooperates with External and Internal customers and suppliers from first product concepts, testing of product and during introduction into the production
- Scouts for innovation opportunities, cost optimizations and participates in their implementation in the project and supports benchmarks
Requirements:
- Secondary School or Bachelor´s degree on University, Engineering field of study
- Min of 3 years of experience in the Mechanical design (plastic injection technology and tool design knowledge), knowledge of lighting technology is advantage
- Knowledge of CATIA V5, GD&T, DFMEA
- English on intermediate level (B2)
- Good knowledge of MS Office, Windows
- Driving license B
