We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Product Development Engineer – Hardware to join our engineering and development team to support our new BMS project. This role is pivotal in driving the development of hardware products from concept to production, with a strong focus on documentation, PCB design coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.
The position is located in our office in Cracow.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of technical documentation throughout the product development process.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to manage and coordinate printed circuit board (PCB) design activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and specifications.
- Provide engineering support to the PTL in technical decision-making, issue resolution, and project execution.
- Assist in preparing the product for mass production, including validation, testing, and transfer to manufacturing.
- Participate in and approve key milestones and design stages, ensuring quality and adherence to engineering standards.
Requirements:
- Strong background in electronics engineering and experience in product lifecycle management (Battery Architecture Experience will be an asset);
- Proven experience in PCB development, preferably in a manufacturing or R&D environment.
- Familiarity with PCB design tools and processes (LTSpice, PSpice, Altium Designer)
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle and production readiness requirements.
- Understanding of communication interfaces (CAN, UART), isolation requirements, power integrity requirements;
- Familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory compliance in hardware development.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional and international team environment.
- Proficiency in English;
