BG R&D WCE Engineer – Krakow, POLAND

Job description

 

As a BG R&D WCE Engineer, you support the deployment and sustainability of the World Class Engineering (WCE) methodology within the Business Group R&D organization. You contribute to the implementation of WCE pillars, promote the WCE culture through communication initiatives, support Cost Deployment activities, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to monitor performance and drive operational excellence across engineering functions.

 

Key Responsibilities

WCE Deployment and Promotion

  • Support the deployment and sustainability of the World Class Engineering (WCE) methodology across the BG R&D organization.
  • Promote the WCE mindset and culture through SharePoint and internal communication channels.
  • Contribute to the deployment and monitoring of WCE pillar activities.
  • Support the communication and visibility of WCE initiatives, achievements, and best practices.

Cost Deployment

  • Participate in Cost Deployment activities to increase understanding of the financial impact of operational and engineering activities.
  • Support the functional tracking and validation of savings generated through performance improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and confirm forecasted savings and contribute to the reporting of results.
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing data related to cost performance and efficiency improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with WCE pillar leaders to support deployment activities and ensure alignment across functions.
  • Foster a collaborative network between pillar leaders and stakeholders.
  • Encourage the sharing of knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices across the organization.

Engineering and Project Monitoring

  • Support activities related to engineering applications, project management, quality, and PMO through WCE deployment and monitoring activities.
  • Contribute to the follow-up of key performance indicators and deployment objectives.
  • Assist in monitoring project progress and ensuring alignment with WCE standards and methodologies.

 

 

 

Profile

 

You are passionate about engineering excellence and structured ways of working.

You enjoy working with different teams and building strong relationships across functions.

You are analytical and interested in understanding the impact of engineering activities on business performance.

 

You hold a degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

You have an interest in manufacturing systems, engineering processes, and operational performance.

You are comfortable working with data analysis, KPIs, and performance reporting.

You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools; experience with SharePoint is an advantage.

You possess strong communication and collaboration skills.

You are fluent in English and able to work in an international and multicultural environment.

 

You are fluent in English and another language is a plus
