Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Regional Compliance Specialist to support the implementation of data protection and compliance programs across Europe. In this role, you will work closely with business and functional teams to promote a strong compliance culture, ensure adherence to privacy regulations, and support broader compliance initiatives in a multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of data protection and privacy programs across the European region.
• Conduct privacy risk assessments and support activities related to data subject rights, data breach management, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor developments in data privacy legislation and provide guidance on their practical application within the business.
• Deliver compliance and data protection training, helping to foster awareness and a strong compliance culture across the organization.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on broader compliance initiatives, including anti-corruption, whistleblowing, conflicts of interest, competition law, and internal investigations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Law, Data Protection, Compliance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a law firm, consultancy, or multinational organization.
• Solid knowledge of GDPR and European data privacy regulations, with hands-on experience in their implementation.
• Experience with privacy governance activities, such as privacy impact assessments, DPA, records of processing activities, data transfers, data subject requests, and data breach management.
• Strong analytical, communication skills, with the ability to provide practical, business-oriented recommendations.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in broader compliance areas (e.g., anti-corruption, whistleblowing, conflicts of interest, competition law, or internal investigations) would be considered an advantage.
