Position Overview: Suppliers Asset Specialist is the operative executive of the Supplier Risk Management organization. The role is divided into two main streams. First one to assure to have overview of our asset at critical supplier and to drive the physical identification of them. Second is the responsibility of transfer of the assets (molds, grippers, testing fixtures and assembly equipment) according to the project timing. Those transfers could be triggered proactively prior to a supplier failing or reactively during an insolvency phase. Additionally, the Tooling Expert is responsible for the communication with the suppliers on the timely relocations and adaptations of the tools during the transfer process to the new supplier sites.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Control and maintain scope for inventory audits;
  • Conduct onsite and remote inventory audits to identify OPm and OPm customers leased assets at suppliers including tagging;
  • Maintain up to date data base of assets inventory in TEMPO including 3D models of tools and pictures confirming inventory results;
  • Organize asset relocations between suppliers production sites;
  • Support and lead tools adaptation at supplier plant;
  • Daily control during mold launch at the supplier plant;
  • Participate to the try-outs at the supplier, evaluate the mold robustness;

Must have requirements:

  • Willingness to travel above 80% of time to supplier locations for on site assets inventory;
  • Basic technical knolwedge regarding assets as injection molds, grippers, checking fixtures;

Other requirements:

  • Experience in area of engineering / manufacturing / industrialization;
  • Shopfloor or technical experience;
  • Basic knowledge of tools and machines;
  • Communicative English level;
  • Knowledge of MS Excel;
