VA/VE Expert - Purchased Parts

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven VA/VE Specialist for Purchased Parts to lead cost optimization initiatives and support supplier development across our industrial operations. If you have experience in value analysis, supplier collaboration, and manufacturing technologies – we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Identify and implement product cost optimization opportunities (VA/VE)
• Lead external workshops with suppliers and deploy savings initiatives
• Develop supplier cost structure and raw material databases
• Support commodity buyers in technical savings (e.g. material changes)
• Optimize purchasing flows and manage resale of raw materials to Tier-2 suppliers
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Plastic); Business background is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering or purchasing (automotive preferred)
• Strong analytical and technical skills; knowledge of injection molding, painting, chroming on plastics
• Experience with VA/VE, Kaizen, Gemba, Monozukuri
• Fluent in English;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Proactive, well-organized, and a strong team player
