PCB Layout Engineer

As a PCB Layout Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and optimization of PCB layouts for automotive lighting products. Working closely with hardware, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams, you will ensure robust PCB design execution, compliance with industry standards, and successful product industrialization throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Analyze hardware specifications, schematics, and mechanical drawings to ensure accurate PCB layout implementation.
- Perform PCB layout design in accordance with company design standards and layout guidelines.
- Define and manage creepage and clearance requirements within PCB designs using Altium Designer.
- Organize and lead PCB layout reviews, coordinating technical discussions with PCB suppliers and manufacturing plants.
- Support product development activities to ensure compliance with customer requirements, product quality standards, and manufacturing processes.
- Lead activities related to customer audits, product control requirements, and process compliance reviews.
- Ensure adherence to Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements and internal quality management systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive design quality, manufacturability, and product reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of PCB layout experience, preferably within the automotive lighting industry.
- Solid knowledge of electronics, PCB design principles, and EMC/EMI requirements.
- Experience in circuit design is considered an advantage.
- Proficient in Altium Designer (V22 or above).
- Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Team-oriented mindset with effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
