Technical Project Leader-EE

JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and coordinate the technical development team;
• Ensure successful execution of all tasks of product development within the scope of the functional quality, time and cost objectives as agreed with the customer;
• Prepare and maintain detailed technical project plans in alignment with project manager and engineering disciplines;
• Support the definition of technical concepts;
• Coordinate technical quotations by estimating R&D efforts and material costs;
• Monitor and control engineering budget, development milestones, deliverables and resources;
• Collect, negotiate and maintain technical customer requirements;
• Lead technical risk assessments and implement lessons learned / best practices;
• Support project status reporting with complete R&D inputs;
• Provide input for technical product strategy;
• Act as technical interface towards customers;
• Lead the team to complete customer's product and process control requirement & customer audit;
• Related more detailed EHS responsibilities can reference to the specific document if signed;
• Following the demand of the quality management system.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT(S):

• Masters or Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Communications Engineering

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT(S):

• 5 years experience in the automotive industry, experience on Light Control Unit or similar products is preferred; 3 years experience as product engineering team member in the automotive industry

HARD SKILLS

• Ability to lead and moderate internal meetings and meetings with suppliers or customers;
• Fluent / advanced level in written and oral English

SOFT SKILLS

• Strong leadership skills and ability to keep focus while under pressure;
• Ability to work as part of an international team spread over multiple locations;
• Good intercultural sensitivity;
