The Global Is Operations Leader - EDI Quality & Delivery is responsible to:

  • Lead and manage the operational delivery of EDI services across platforms for region level.
  • Ensures the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of integration and data exchange services across all Business.
  • Coordinates internal and external teams to deliver reliable and efficient operational service aligned with business needs.
  • Acts as the primary escalation and governance point for all Integration Operations topics regionally.

 

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Service delivery

    • Lead daily operational service delivery for Integration and EDI in accordance with SLAs and business expectations.
    • Provide managerial direction and operational leadership to ensure consistent, customer-focused service.
    • Ensure operational processes, documentation, and compliance standards are properly implemented and maintained.
    • Drive the transition of integration projects from Build to Run phase, ensuring full operational readiness.
    • Manage communication and escalations with stakeholders, business partners, and suppliers.

 

Support and Corrective maintenance:

    • Oversee and prioritize incident, problem, and service request management for integration and EDI platforms.
    • Ensure SLA compliance, effective prioritization, and escalation management.
    • Supervise ticket flow, ensuring proper assignment, progress, and closure.
    • Act as a high-level escalation point for critical incidents.
    • Monitor trends, analyse recurring issues, and implement corrective or preventive measures.
    • Regularly report on system health, key incidents, and operational KPIs.

 

Administration & Supervision:

    • Supervise integration platform management (EDI tools) in collaboration with IT Global Operations.
    • Coordinate technical operations: patching, version upgrades, OS/DB migrations, and connectivity provisioning.
    • Manage and optimize integration monitoring and alerting frameworks.
    • Support platform capacity and performance management, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
    • Coordinate vendor activities and evaluate service performance against contracts and SLAs.
    • Oversee database growth monitoring, archiving, and housekeeping activities.
    • Contribute to integration platform strategy, including innovation, standardization, and security.
    • Promote automation and continuous improvement across all operational processes.

 

Standard Change management:

    • Supervise and approve standard changes to the Integration and EDI landscape.
    • Coordinate lifecycle management of change requests (design, development, testing, implementation).
    • Manage the relevant governance committees (Change Advisory Board, Deployment Review)
    • Ensure that all changes are properly documented, tested, and approved before deployment.
    • Communicate proactively on planning, delivery dates, and impacts with relevant stakeholders.
    • Monitor change efficiency and continuous improvement of release processes.
    • Lead communication with requestors and stakeholders, including scheduling and approval cycles.
    • Ensure all changes follow Group IT/IS governance, approval, and documentation standards.
    • Support communication and scheduling changes with affected Business
    • Track and report regional change performance, identifying areas for improvement

 

REQUIRED PROFILE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Integration technologies (Boomi, APIs, EDI standards like EDIFACT, VDA, ANSI X12), SAP interfacing
  • Certified experience in EDI technologies – nice to have
  • ITIL Certification
  • Minimum 8 years of IT operations experience, with at least 3 years in integration management or related leadership roles.
  • Proven experience managing global EDI and integration environments.
  • Experience in working with hybrid integration platforms (on-premises & cloud)
  • Experience with external AMS and platform vendors
  • Strong knowledge of Boomi AtomSphere, EDI standards (EDIFACT, ANSI X12, VDA), and integration protocols (AS2, SFTP, API)
  • Understanding of SAP integration frameworks
  • Fluent English.
