REGIONAL FINANCE ACCOUNTING PROFESSIONAL P2P

(Hub) P2P Operations Leader Americas (C-Power)

OPmobility is developing a Regional Hub America Accounting to operate the Accounting processes focusing for this position on the P2P accounting activities.

The position is expected to assist his / her manager to set up and scale up the regional P2P accounting team. Quality from day 1 is essential to ensure further P2P development. This position should also participate to the P2P processes effectiveness.

The position ensures the P2P processes under his / her scope are delivering in terms of compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate Accounting and Internal Control policies, 

The position should lead a team of finance professionals and is expected to collaborate also cross-functionally to suggest processes streamlining activities. 

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES AND TASKS   

Main responsibilities are as follows: 

Directly manages the P2P accounting services under his/her responsibility, 

Ensures that the P2P services deliver against set performance targets and secures the financial compliance. Ensures the quality, the efficiency and effectiveness of the P2P operations by suggesting process improvements. Provides visibility of the P2P activities in scope (KPIs, SOPs) with appropriate action plans where required. 

More specifically: 

Oversees the P2P activities in scope, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and procedures. This includes and shall not be exhaustive: 

Manages the transactional activities with a specific focus on adherence with the group’s procurement policies.

Litigation and back log management: analyzes supplier enquiries and ensures that remediation actions for solving differences are taken by appropriate stakeholders (purchasing / operations depending on the issue blocking the process), 

Manages the P2P payment factory process, ensuring appropriate validation and controls and alignment  with the Treasury function and the banks.

Manages the reconciliation activities (month-end, unmatched invoices, provisions, suppliers’ accounts reconciliations…), 

Leads and manages a team, providing guidance, support and development opportunities, 

 

Continuously monitors the quality of the P2P services and adherence to internal service level agreements, maintaining the related KPIs lists, RACI and SOPs,  

Supports the strategic plans provided to achieve the P2P function objectives, 

Works hand in hand with his / her manager and the Finance P2P Business Process Owner lead for process improvements, 

Participates to the Design then provides agreed regular reports and analysis to his/her leader (KPIs, Dashboard), 

Secures the SOP delivery and update at least once a year, 

Ensures the compliance with local and international regulations. 

REQUESTED PROFILE 

Experience: Significant experience in Finance P2P operations leader’s roles within industrial groups, if possible combined with experience of implementing or optimizing a SSC P2P organization, 

Leadership: Strong leadership and management skills, 

Collaboration: Ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders (ex.: Finance, IT, Business groups, suppliers, auditors…). Habit of interacting and communicating with various nationalities and cultures, 

Adaptability: Self-starter with emotional intelligence able to adapt to fast changing environments, 

Knowledge: SAP Finance, Microsoft Office, RPAs, Microsoft Power Automate, Data visualization tools (ex.: Power BI), 

Fluent in English

Bachelor’s degree in accountancy and / or Finance/Business Administration. 9 to 14 years’ experience.
