Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer of the Value Tower Manufacturing, the Regional IS Project Manager - Manufacturing partners with VT stakeholders, BG CIOs, Industrial teams, BPO and IS Business Partners to define and prioritize new plant projects or very impactful projects in existing plants, in line with business requirements and strategy.
He/she ensures the successful and timely delivery of solutions and digital projects, in terms of quality, cost, performance, value generation, and security
MAIN ACTIVITIES
PROJECT DEFINITION & SIZING
- Works with the industrial project team, the BPOs and the Business Partner to define the content of the project.
- Investigates project feasibility and escalates immediately in case of potential delivery issues.
- Builds global planning / accurate budget / team sizing of the projects and ensure value delivery.
- Monitors alignment between the quoted assumptions and actual expenditures (any deviation must be approved).
- Organizes and coordinates IS / IT team capacity and anticipates needs of resources.
- Ensures delivery (MES, CMMS, REPORTING, RFID, etc.) meets technical and performance specifications
- Participates in commissioning, provisional and final acceptance
- Keeps and updates action plan and documentation
- Reports on a regular basis to the VT Manufacturing CIO on the status of each project
- Assists and trains local teams on IS Processes
- Participates in industrial action plans as IS Project Manager and performs regular follow‑up
- Shares experience with structured feedback to métiers and project team members
- Helps teams write specifications and define resources and time needed for implementation.
- Participates in supplier selection and negotiation when necessary.
PROJECT DELIVERY
- Pilots and contributes to the delivery of projects within defined milestones and according to defined cost, quality and value generation criteria.
- Coordinates the project teams assigned and supervises progress at each step of the project. Defines and follows up the production of functional tests and necessary adjustments.
- Manages, accompanies, trains and develops the human resources assigned to his/her team.
- Defines and coordinates change management activities and training of key users.
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
- Defines and monitors indicators related to the success and quality of project deliveries.
- Keeps project stakeholders informed of project status, alerts on potential risks and coordinates back-up plans or adjustments if needed.
- Manages his/her suppliers operationally under negotiated framework agreements
- Is accountable for continuous improvement plan
REQUIRED PROFILE & EXPERIENCE
- Master degree in IS or Engineering School with IT/OT specialization or equivalent combination of education, experience & skills.
- Strong experience in management of industrial projects (IS & IT/OT projects (min 10 years) in international environment & matrix organization.
- In-depth knowledge of business industrial processes (injection, paint, assembly, bonding, etc.), their modelling and process flow.
- In-depth knowledge of IS and IT organization and processes (Symphony, etc.)
- Good background in IT OT infrastructure / Network
- Knowledge in ERP SAP main module (PP, QM, MM, PM,)
- Good communication and leadership skills, proactive, collaborative, organization & analytical mindset.
- Able to work with multicultural teams.
- Supplier management / basics of finance & negotiation.
- Comfortable using Office 365 suite.
- Proficient in English (TOEIC 800), another language is a plus
- Category B driving licence.
