X-BG IS PROJECT LEADER
The BU IS Project Leader - Americas is responsible to:
- Lead the development of VT projects at a regional level, ensuring all deliverables meet business and technical requirements while adhering to best practices and organizational standards
- Plan, execute, and close Mono region or specific BG IS projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and achieving targeted outcomes within the scope, time, and budget
- Continuously monitor, report, and mitigate risks to avoid project disruptions and ensure strategic alignment with the BG objectives
- Oversee the execution of the projects, ensuring all project teams are effectively coordinated, deadlines are met, and key milestones are achieved
- Contribute to the definition & deployment of Global IS transformation projects and ensure smooth collaboration with BGs & Group IS
- Collect and filter BG needs with the BP; support the description and shaping of Demands, contributing to scoping, including Business prioritization with the Region where required.
Main activities:
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to define the project roadmap, outlining key phases, milestones, and dependencies
- Ensure all project plans, processes, and deliverables comply with established organizational standards, policies, and guidelines
- Track project deadlines and proactively address any potential delays
- Execute pilots, roll-outs, and distribution of tested systems in collaboration with BG stakeholders and the VT; oversee hypercare and post-implementation support.
- Leads the planning processes and produces regular reports covering progress-to-plan of projects in its Region
- Update the project for presentation to the VT, adhering to the official project management methodology designated by D&IS, such as Symphony.
PROJECT TEAM MANAGEMENT
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and communication
- Oversee deliverable quality (requirements, design, testing, data, cutover, training) and ensure readiness at each Project gate.
- Maintain consistent and effective communication with all stakeholders, providing updates on progress, risks, and issues.
- Facilitate coordination between Regional Teams and local teams to ensure successful project delivery and adoption.
COMMUNICATION / COLLABORATION
- Reports on project risks and issues and propose countermeasures.
- Ensures that solutions deliver the expected value throughout the entire life cycle.
- Supports business leaders in implementing the processes to guarantee solutions adoption and correct usage in the long run
- Act as a partner with Practices department, collaborate with the VT team and BP's to ensure convergence between Regional and Global projects,
- Participate in the VT Monthly Project Portfolio meetings and present the status of projects
- Remain aware of incident escalation and contribute to resolution management when solicited by Operations or IS management, where the project Leader's expertise or coordination is required.
Required profile and experience
- Master’s degree Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and skills.
- Proven track record in managing large, strategic IS projects with high visibility and complex requirements
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in large-scale digital transformation initiatives, from concept to delivery
- Extensive exposure to C-level executives (e.g., CIO, CTO) and executive communications.
- Experience managing significant budgets and resources, navigating complex stakeholder landscapes, and mitigating major risks
- Strong background delivering IS Solutions for business-critical functions that drive efficiency, scalability, and measurable value.
- Excellent communication and pedagogical skills. Ability to develop effective relationships, across multiple BGs, functions and geographies.
- Consistent drive for results with a record of successful deliveries.
- Analytical, structured and process oriented; adapt at prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
- Multicultural fluency. Proficient in English (TOEIC 800) ; additional language is a plus.
- Open to travel to different locations, depending on business needs.
