Mission:
FP&A Controller role is a key role in the management of a €2.6B Automotive Business Group within OPmobility. Our focus is to win as a team with everyone's strong individual contributions. You will find strong collaboration among team members and an environment where everyone's opinions are valued and encouraged to be shared. You will play a role in managerial accounting, setting strategy, decision-making, business planning, and analysis across all aspects of the business.
You will be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the Business Group’s Financial results, for the preparation of monthly closing, forecast, strategic planning and budget processes and ad hoc analysis to Top Management.
Responsibilities & Activities:
Reporting:
- Lead the monthly consolidation for the Business Group (P&L, B/S, FCF, KPIs) and analysis of financial reporting from C-Power closing, forecast and budget.
- Deliver high quality presentations explaining key drivers and results (main variances to budget or prior year) to Top Management.
- Ensure all accounting aspects of the businesses are being properly performed by the local teams and reflected in the accounts
- Provide accurate and timely financial information under the specific deadlines
Analysis, Forecast and Planning:
- Analyzing and preparing financial statements, including profit-and-loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and statements of financial position
- Analysis of key financial ratios of each Region such as working capital
- In conjunction with the Finance Manager, inform in a timely manner Top Management and any department of the Group and Regions financial performance to drive decision making and influence the business
- Working with individual departments to prepare budget and consolidate them into one overall BG budget.
- Performing ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigative issues to support key decision makers.
Others:
- In conjunction with the Finance Manager, manage all accounting related matters, financial analysis and planning to support business development.
- Driving process efficiency by developing new reporting/controlling tools, to support Management and improve overall process efficiency within the Business
Group:
- Co-ordinates with Consolidation team to ensure proper Group reporting.
- Support ad-hoc projects within cross-functional Team as needed.
- Provide continuous improvement of current processes, explaining and communicating your findings
- Manage the reporting systems and ensure compliance and existence of data
- Work with the EPM team to develop and improve the reporting systems.
Profile:
Required knowledge, skill, and abilities:
- Experience in accounting and financial reporting.
- Interest in systems and ability to quickly adapt to new Tools
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, good PowerPoint skills, common applications used in office,
- Experience in SAP, Oracle applications would be appreciated
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling simple communication of complex topics
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships
- High level of self-motivation; ability to quickly identify what needs to be accomplished and resourcefulness to get things done.
- Fluent in French and English to join a France-based finance team overseeing global operations
Education and experience:
- Master’s degree in Finance (Business School, University..)
