Mission:

The Supply Chain and Purchasing Controller Trainee, based in Levallois, will report to the Opex and Supply Chain Manager Controller. This role involves ensuring timely and accurate reporting and analysis of Supply Chain and Purchasing data to support better decision-making.

Responsibilities:

Support to deliver Supply Chain and Purchasing Planning, Forecasting & Reporting on time and at high quality level.

Scope includes:

• Deliver accurate and timely monthly/quarterly reports for Cost to Serve (€120M scope), Inventory Management (€150M scope), including Days of Inventory on Hand – DOH, Indirect Purchasing (€210M scope).
• Support monthly variances analysis versus Budget and prior-year performance, collaborating with regional and plant controllers to identify root causes.
• Contribute to ad hoc analysis to address business challenges (e.g., cost optimization, inventory trends).

Reporting Tools Integration & Continuous Improvement:

• Maintain and update financial data in the Supply Chain Scorecard (IRSI BI Tool), ensuring accuracy for internal stakeholders (Business Groups, regions, entities).
• Partner with Supply Chain and IT teams to implement and enhance BI Tools, improving reporting efficiency.
• Simplify and streamline existing reports to accelerate month-end closing and focus on value-added analysis.

Provide Planning & Analysis Support to Business Partner Controlling team:

• Contribute to parts material costs update including volume and cost reduction impacts.
• Support Budget standard determination process and SAP upload.
• Any other tasks within the mission of the Business Partner Controlling team as required.

Personal Background:
•    Student in Business School (ESC) in Accounting / Controlling major
•    Basic accounting knowledge
•    Fluent written and spoken English
•    Strong MS Excel skills
•    Communication skills, to exchange and work with other functions

•    Able to provide advice and support but also to challenge and provide an alert when things are not on track
•    Able to build relationships and work both cross-functionally and cross-regionally
