Responsibilities
The group seeks to reinforce its capabilities in the measuring and monitoring of its economic and financial performance. Within this framework the main tasks and responsibilities include:
Reporting & Planning
Develop an in-depth understanding of value-creation levers within the Group and the relevant entities through the design and monitoring of relevant financial, operational, and business KPI’s. Within this context, he/she produces insightful analysis on revenue trends, pricing and margin expansion, inflation, and productivity.
Identify business risks & opportunities in close partnership with the division finance teams, understand, communicate variance drivers, identify root causes, and action owners as needed.
Own monthly closing/estimate and produce reliable estimates of revenue margin and cash.
Synthesize and communicate key financial and business insights to drive decision-making with operational teams.
Set targets and long-range forecast planning including scenario analysis. Develop predictive model to improve forecast accuracies.
Support external reporting requirements, including annual financial filings and supporting corporate investor relations and ad hoc requests.
Continuous Improvement
Develop simple, robust, and repeatable processes. Identify best practices and scale them across divisions, sites. Leverage systems to automate historical data analysis and scenario planning.
Lead / Coach junior FP&A analysts in the divisions
Profile required
Personal Background
- Business or engineering education, qualified accountant a plus
- 7+ years minimum experience in financial reporting, financial modelling, budgeting, and planning.
- Automotive industry experience a plus.
Skills & Abilities
- Highly organized self-starter with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment to balance multiple priorities and possess high accountability to deadlines and results
- Solid analytic skills & precision with numbers: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives
- Strong command of Excel, experience with financial modelling
- Excellent communication skills: experience working across functions across divisions; able to synthesize complexity and communicate concisely verbally and on power point.
- Fluent in both French and English
