MISSION
The Global Business Process Owner Controlling is responsible for managing and optimizing the controlling processes within the organization globally cross-BG. This role involves overseeing the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of controlling processes to ensure they align with the company's strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES
- Process Management:
Define, update, and manage controlling processes, ensuring they are efficient, effective, and compliant with internal and external requirements. Ensuring alignment between BGs. Define RACIs. Ensure implementation of those processes in SAP CO Module (mainly transactional controlling) with target to harmonize them across BG.
- Team Management:
Manage a team of 6 BPO Controlling or referent, to build a mutualized team cross BG, aiming specialization by domain on transactional side, such as Manufacturing, Program, Profitability, Function reporting and Master Data maintenance.
- Collaboration:
Work closely with various departments of all BGs, including Finance, Digital & IS, Business, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of controlling processes between Business Groups. Organize the framework to ensure compliance with business rules. Being incremental in decision making, confronting positions with Top Manager as VP Transformation or EVP Group CFO.
- Continuous Improvement:
Drive and contribute to continuous improvement of the Finance processes, analyzing issues and proposing solutions. Define Finance project agenda with D&IS function considering the Business Group timeline.
- Training and Documentation:
Provide training and support to process users, ensuring they understand and adhere to controlling processes and procedures. Being persuasive in terms of adoption and convergence. Maintain SAP core model documentation and related processes
PROFILE REQUIRED
Personal Background
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in a controlling or finance role, with a strong understanding of controlling processes and best practices.
- Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in financial software and tools, including ERP systems (e.g., SAP), Reporting tools (e.g. Oracle HFM) and advanced Excel skills.

- Leadership: Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams to achieve process improvement goals. Being at the forefront to lead process convergence among Top Management.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing controlling processes and financial data.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities, and to drive change within the organization.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and align controlling processes with the company's long-term objectives.
