Missions

 

  • The Corporate Benefits Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the global benefits strategy across the group. This role focuses on establishing a common framework of benefits commitments to ensure consistency, competitiveness, and alignment with the group’s overall employee engagement objectives. The manager will work closely with regional HR teams, corporate leadership, and external vendors to optimize benefits offerings, ensuring they meet local regulations and the diverse needs of employees.
  • Employee Satisfaction: Measured through surveys and feedback regarding benefits offerings.
  • Benefits Utilization Rates: Monitoring how often employees use various benefits to ensure value and relevance.
  • Cost Efficiency: Regular reviews of benefits spend vs. budget, ensuring optimal return on investment.
  • Retention & Engagement Metrics: Tracking how benefits programs impact employee retention, turnover, and overall engagement.
  • Compliance and Audit Reports: Frequency and severity of compliance issues or audit findings related to benefits administration.

 

Activities

Developing a Global Benefits Framework:

 

  • Contribute to define and implement a consistent global benefits policy, ensuring alignment with the company's culture, values, and overall employee value proposition.
  • Identify and evaluate current benefits programs across various countries, standardizing where possible, while accommodating local regulatory and cultural requirements.
  • Establish minimum benefits standards for all countries, balancing equity with local market practices.

 

2. Benefits Strategy & Planning:

 

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of competitive, cost-effective, and innovative benefits solutions that attract, motivate, and retain talent globally.
  • Conduct regular market benchmarking and analysis to ensure benefits packages are competitive within each region.
  • Develop long-term strategic plans to continuously evolve the group’s benefits offerings in line with market trends, company growth, and employee needs.

 

3. Policy Implementation & Compliance:

 

  • Ensure that benefits policies are compliant with relevant legal, tax, and regulatory requirements across all countries.
  • Manage relationships with third-party benefits providers, including health insurance companies, pension plan administrators, and wellness program vendors.

 

4. Employee Communication & Engagement:

 

  • Collaborate with internal communications teams to create clear, accessible communication materials about benefits offerings.
  • Develop training and resources to help employees understand and maximize their benefits.
  • Monitor and improve employee engagement through regular feedback, surveys, and benefits utilization analysis.

 

5. Collaboration & Coordination:

  • Partner with regional and local HR teams to ensure effective implementation and localization of the global benefits strategy.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to HR business partners and management on benefits-related issues and trends.
  • Coordinate with finance to manage budgets and monitor cost-effectiveness of benefits programs.

 

6. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness, cost-efficiency, and employee satisfaction with benefits programs.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior leadership on the impact of benefits initiatives and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Track and manage benefits-related costs and their impact on overall employee engagement and retention.

 

Competences requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in compensation and benefits
  • Has operated in an international/global set up 
  • Expertise in compensation and benefits practices, regulations
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term benefits strategies that align with company goals and employee needs.
  • Global Perspective: Strong understanding of global HR practices, benefits regulations, and cultural sensitivities across multiple countries.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing market trends, benchmarking data, and financial implications to make informed decisions.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, across various regions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, capable of explaining complex benefits concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence senior leaders, HR partners, and external vendors.
  • Compliance Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of local and international benefits regulations and tax requirements.
