Job Description:
We are looking for a legal intern specializing in IT law, contract law, intellectual property (IP), and personal data protection (GDPR) to join our legal team. You will be involved in various legal matters related to information technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and draft IT contracts, including software license and maintenance agreements (SaaS or on-premises), application management agreements (AMS), hosting agreements, IT outsourcing agreements, service agreements (master agreements and standalone contracts), amendments, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), etc.
- Review and draft indirect procurement contracts (communications, marketing, general services, etc.)
- Analyze and handle legal issues related to intellectual property, particularly in relation to software and trademarks
- Provide advice and support on compliance issues related to personal data protection within contracts (GDPR)
- Assist in dispute management and resolution
- Conduct legal and regulatory monitoring in the areas of IT, IP, and data protection
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project and RFP compliance
Profile:
- Education: Master’s degree (final year) in law or law school (bar school) student, with a specialization in contract law, IT law, intellectual property, and/or personal data protection
- Experience: A first significant professional experience in a company is required for this role
- Language skills: Excellent written and spoken English. As English is the primary working language, this is essential
- Personal qualities: Autonomy, rigor, strong organizational skills, excellent writing and communication skills, and ability to work in a team
- Technical skills: Good command of IT tools and legal databases
