The role of Design Leader is based in our Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Lozorno, Slovakia.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure product design meets customer quality, weight, recycling, cost, and timing requirements
• Collect and manage all necessary technical inputs from the customer
• Analyze feasibility and lead design development internally or with Tier-2 suppliers
• Manage technical information flow with CAD teams, suppliers, and customers
• Lead design reviews, define action plans, and monitor CAD timing milestones
• Propose technical solutions and support the Engineering Project Manager
• Build geometry files and define part and product reference systems
• Define and formalize tuning zones for tooling realization
• Follow part realization and technically validate assembly drawings
• Capitalize and document design lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

• University degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Engineering field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in design of injection-molded plastic parts
• Proven ability to lead product design activities and CAD engineers
• Strong knowledge of design-for-manufacturing principles
• Experience in automotive product development environments
• High level of technical proactivity and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to travel as required
• Driving license B
• Fluent English (B2 level or higher)
