The role of Geometry Engineer is based in our Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Lozorno, Slovakia.
Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate 1D, 2D, and 3D measurements and analyze results
- Create, estimate, and validate measurement plans and project budgets
- Coordinate measurement activities and checking fixtures with suppliers
- Lead geometry convergence activities across development phases
- Ensure tolerance accuracy and feasibility during RFQ phases
- Support dimensional validation in complex automotive projects
- Optimize and refine dimensional and measurement tools for production
- Monitor measurement flow and ensure timely delivery of results
- Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and production teams
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or similar field
- Experience in geometry engineering, dimensional management, or metrology
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance management principles
- Experience with 3D measurement systems and related software
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD data
- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional and supplier coordination
- Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Fluent English (German or other languages are an advantage)
