Geometry Engineer

The role of Geometry Engineer is based in our Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Lozorno, Slovakia.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate 1D, 2D, and 3D measurements and analyze results
  • Create, estimate, and validate measurement plans and project budgets
  • Coordinate measurement activities and checking fixtures with suppliers
  • Lead geometry convergence activities across development phases
  • Ensure tolerance accuracy and feasibility during RFQ phases
  • Support dimensional validation in complex automotive projects
  • Optimize and refine dimensional and measurement tools for production
  • Monitor measurement flow and ensure timely delivery of results
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and production teams

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or similar field
  • Experience in geometry engineering, dimensional management, or metrology
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance management principles
  • Experience with 3D measurement systems and related software
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD data
  • Analytical mindset with high attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional and supplier coordination
  • Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented working style
  • Fluent English (German or other languages are an advantage)
