Process Quality Engineer

The role of Process Quality Engineer is based in our Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Lozorno, Slovakia. 

Responsibilities

• Solve and coordinate internal quality complaints and production quality issues, including root cause identification and definition of corrective actions
• Coordinate activities related to the complaint management process and follow up on their implementation
• Monitor and analyse production defects, particularly in the assembly area, and support their systematic resolution
• Monitor, coordinate and evaluate production tests and trials, including validation and technical tests
• Evaluate test and trial results and verify whether they meet the defined requirements
• Track planned tests and validation activities and ensure their timely completion
• Cooperate with assembly, injection molding, painting, process engineering and other teams to solve quality issues
• Coordinate quality-related tasks and activities within production and cooperate with other members of the Quality team
• Identify opportunities to improve production processes and quality and support the implementation of new solutions
• Support the team in ensuring the required level of quality in serial production

Requirements

• University degree in a technical field, ideally in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management or a related field
• Previous experience in quality or manufacturing within the automotive industry
• Basic knowledge of quality management principles and problem solving in manufacturing
• Experience with manufacturing processes, experience in assembly is an advantage
• Ability to work with the results of technical tests and trials and evaluate them against defined requirements
• Experience in task coordination or team leadership is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a practical approach to finding solutions
• Good communication and organisational skills and the ability to collaborate with different departments
• Slovak or Czech language, good command of English
