Process Quality Engineer

The role of Process Quality Engineer is based in our Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Lozorno, Slovakia.
Responsibilities
- Solve and coordinate internal quality complaints and production quality issues, including root cause identification and definition of corrective actions
- Coordinate activities related to the complaint management process and follow up on their implementation
- Monitor and analyse production defects, particularly in the assembly area, and support their systematic resolution
- Monitor, coordinate and evaluate production tests and trials, including validation and technical tests
- Evaluate test and trial results and verify whether they meet the defined requirements
- Track planned tests and validation activities and ensure their timely completion
- Cooperate with assembly, injection molding, painting, process engineering and other teams to solve quality issues
- Coordinate quality-related tasks and activities within production and cooperate with other members of the Quality team
- Identify opportunities to improve production processes and quality and support the implementation of new solutions
- Support the team in ensuring the required level of quality in serial production
Requirements
- University degree in a technical field, ideally in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management or a related field
- Previous experience in quality or manufacturing within the automotive industry
- Basic knowledge of quality management principles and problem solving in manufacturing
- Experience with manufacturing processes, experience in assembly is an advantage
- Ability to work with the results of technical tests and trials and evaluate them against defined requirements
- Experience in task coordination or team leadership is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a practical approach to finding solutions
- Good communication and organisational skills and the ability to collaborate with different departments
- Slovak or Czech language, good command of English
